The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Kathmandu Environmental Education Project KEEP was successfully completed on Monday, 2081/05/31, under presence of chief guest, Mr. Ram Parsad Sapkota (Kamal), Vice President of Nepal Tourism Board. The special guest of the program was Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa, founder & director of Climate Alliance of Himalayan Communities as well as Honorary Consul of Belgium, Mr. Hari Dharel, Honorary Consul to Denmark, Hikmat Singh Ayer, Director NTB.
The program was presided over by KEEP’S president Devi Prasad Pant and the welcome speech was delivered by Chairman of KEEP, Mr. Devi Prasad Panta. Mr. Pitamber Gurung, General Secretary of KEEP was the presenter of the program. In 28th AGM KEEP proudly launch the book called “Minimal Impact Travel (MIT) which is supposed as the major document to support sustainable tourism under the NTB/STLRP project. In the same way, International CEO Ian Wall made a highlight about KEEP, while Vice President Ram Kumar Puri concluded the program with a vote of thanks. Similarly, former president and advisor Mangal Man Shakya who was present at the meeting was explained about, how did the KEEP start. The President of TAAN, General Secretary of NMA, president of NATA, NARA and other guests gave their best wishes in the program. General Secretary Pitamber Gurung and Treasurer Rishi Prasad Nepal presented their progress report for FY 2079/80 and future action plan for 2081/082. The New Executive Board was appointed for period 2024-2026. The program was attended by personalities from various associations and organizations related to tourism.
