Building Safer Adventures: Exclusive Wilderness First Aid Training for Intrepid DMC Nepal Leadership Team

We are delighted to congratulate the 24 trekking leaders from Intrepid DMC Nepal, operating across Nepal and India, who successfully completed an intensive three-day Wilderness First Aid Training course held at KEEP from May 31 to June 2, 2026.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Dr. Kulesh Bahadur Thapa and his dedicated team for delivering an exceptional training experience. Through engaging instruction, realistic practical demonstrations, and immersive hands-on sessions, they ensured that participants gained both the knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in wilderness emergencies.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Intrepid DMC Nepal for its commitment to the professional development and capacity building of its trekking leaders. Strengthening first aid and emergency response skills is a vital step toward enhancing safety standards and ensuring the well-being of both international trekkers and local mountain communities.

"Strengthening emergency response capabilities contributes directly to safer, more responsible, and resilient trekking experiences throughout the Himalayas."

As these newly certified leaders return to the trails, they do so equipped with valuable life-saving skills that will help create safer adventures for all.

Congratulations to all participants on this important achievement, and best wishes for continued success in the mountains.
