Training on Wilderness First Aid & Rescue, Eco-Leadership, Weather Reading, and Map Reading & Navigation
July 1–4, 2026 | Supported by Nepal Tourism Board
The four-day training program focused on developing essential knowledge, practical skills, and confidence for safe and responsible participation in wilderness environments.
The first two days were dedicated to Wilderness First Aid & Rescue, where participants learned essential first aid skills, emergency response techniques, and rescue practices relevant to remote and outdoor settings.
The third day focused on Eco-Leadership, along with Weather Reading and Map Reading & Navigation theory. Participants developed a deeper understanding of the natural environment, weather conditions, and fundamental navigation principles.
The final day brought the learning into the field through hands-on map reading and navigation practice. Participants applied their theoretical knowledge in real-world terrain, strengthening their skills, building confidence, and gaining firsthand experience in navigating outdoor environments.
The program concluded with a valuable combination of knowledge, teamwork, practical application, and field experience.
Congratulations to all the participants on successfully completing the training. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and active participation contributed greatly to the success of the program.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all the instructors, facilitators, and supporters for their valuable guidance, expertise, and contribution. We are especially grateful to the Nepal Tourism Board for supporting the program and helping make this learning experience possible.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this four-day training program a meaningful and successful journey.
