Kathmandu Environmental education project (KEEP) had conducted Three Days Guides and Porters Awareness Workshop with Support of Worldwide Education Partnership for Nepal (WWEP), Swiss Foundation for Solidarity in Tourism (SST), Crooked Trails, USA and Alp Kit Foundation. The Program was conducted at Naukunda Rural Municipality ward number 06 Sarshyu, Rsauwa Nepal. The Main objectives of Porters Awareness Program was to upgrade the knowledge of guides and porters and current scenario of tourism industry and Basic First Aid Course for Guides and porters in rural Villages of Nepal. The Program was conducted from 3rd – 5th June, 2023 and altogether 34 guides and porters were participated for the Porters Awareness Program.
