Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) successfully concluded a three-day Wilderness First Aid Training for trekking leaders from Ace the Himalaya Trekking Pvt. Ltd.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding and practical skills in first aid, emergency response, and wilderness safety. It provided trekking leaders with essential knowledge and hands-on experience to manage injuries, medical emergencies, and other unexpected situations effectively while operating in remote and challenging environments.
A total of 20 participants successfully completed the training, demonstrating their commitment to strengthening their first aid, emergency response, and wilderness safety skills. The training concluded with a certificate distribution and closing ceremony, recognizing the participants’ dedication and active participation throughout the program.
We were deeply honored to have Mr. Sahadev Dhamala, Member of the Executive Committee of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), join us as the Chief Guest at the certificate distribution and closing ceremony. His presence, encouragement, and valuable support added great significance to the program and further highlighted the importance of strengthening safety and emergency preparedness within Nepal’s trekking and tourism sector.
