Volunteer
KEEP is always in search of capable volunteers, and greatly appreciates the interest and commitment of those aspiring individuals who are willing to use their skills to help the communities and people of Nepal.
We run the following volunteer programmes:
Volunteer to teach English
KEEP organises for volunteer teachers to teach basic and intermediate English in government schools in various parts of rural Nepal. Through volunteer teachers, students not only increase their confidence in speaking English, but are able to gain knowledge and a broader understanding of the world beyond their village. The program provides volunteers with an insight into Nepali culture and daily life.
A qualification in teaching English as a foreign language is appreciated but not necessary and support will be given to those with limited previous experience.
Volunteer at KEEP in Kathmandu
Volunteers who contribute their time and effort to KEEP to help with its ongoing programs, training courses and workshops as well as office work and organisational development are an essential part of our ongoing success.
